Experts in Exports

Onyx Group were winners at this year’s North East Exporter’s Awards for their success in exporting to the Dubai market. Held every year by UK Trade and Investment, this is the only regional awards programme which recognises the individual who has achieved the most for their companies in pursuit of export business.

Onyx Group Technical Director Sean Allison accepted the Passport to Export Award for success of an individual who has worked with an International Trade Adviser to develop an Export Action Plan which has resulted in commercial success in their target market.

Onyx Group have worked closely with UKTI to develop their proposition to the Dubai marketplace where it was identified that there was a need for high-end network security and compliance solutions. Sean commented “UKTI have been essential in our penetration of the Dubai marketplace. They have offered all the support and training we have needed to get the most out of exporting our services and this is now paying dividends as we start to bring on board some very high-profile overseas clients.”
